Profile
ROSSIMONTE is a very interesting diploid Perennial ryegrass in the late heading group. On the Dutch recommended list, ROSSIMONTE shows a high dry matter yield especially in the second cut and is suitable for both cutting and grazing. The advantage of the very late heading date is that the grazing period is extremely long. As a result, a lot of grass can be used under grazing before the heads appear and forage quality decreases.
National listing/Official recommendation:

-
high yields unter cutting and grazing
-
very good stand stability
-
good persistence and sward density
