Profile
ARNANDO is a diploid variety in the late maturity segment. The variety shows a good rust resistance combined with interesting yields over all cuts, especially in the first cut (Northwest German recommendation). Remarkable for ARNANDO is also its low tendency for inflorescence formation in the aftermath. The combination of high yields and a low stem production in the following cuts leads to excellent high energy yields, when ARNANDO is grown.
National listing/Official recommendation:
DE, NL
- great endurance, low susceptibility to rust
- high yields, esp. in first cut
- good sward density and leafy growth
