Profile
ALLIGATOR is an early to intermediate tetraploid Perennial ryegrass. The variety has a very good mass production at the beginning of the plant development and in the regrowth. This is the fundament for the very good dry matter yields in the first cut and in total. Additional important characteristics of ALLIGATOR are the good persistence and winter hardiness, which makes it especially suitable for higher altitudes.
National listing/Official recommendation:
AT, CH, DE, LU
- outstanding winter hardiness and high endurance
- high total DM-yields
- very suitable for high altitudes
