Undersowing – keeping the soil green

The permanent greening of soils is becoming increasingly important for soil-conserving agriculture. Undersowing and companion cropping are proven arable farming measures. During the growth phase of the main crop, the undersown or the companion crop can establish itself in peace and develop its full effect after the main crop harvest. Especially undersown crops can be used as winter greening after the harvest of the main crop.
